For 2009-2010, I was looking for an all new project. After much research I settled on Armortek's 1/6 Scale all-metal King Tiger. The U.K. company produces very high quality machined kits; and offers fantastic customer support. The tank weighs 309 pounds (without electronics) and measure 67" including the barrel (49" without). Because my interest is more in the engineering aspect the King Tiger, rather than it's combat operations; the finish is a mix of camouflage and bare metal.
